As Governor, I vow to work toward codifying the right to expedited care for first trimester abortions within the Iowa Civil Rights Act, and second and third trimesters for medical reasons.
The right to abortion needs to be counterbalanced by an education campaign on responsible and safe sex, unintentional pregnancy prevention, and the importance of practicing safe sex.

We may have different beliefs in this country, but we need to honor the sacrifices of U.S. Veterans by learning to get along and upholding each others’ rights. That is our most important social contract!“
