Help Get Sondra On the Ballot
A simple, step-by-step guide to collecting and submitting petition signatures in Iowa.

Iowa law does not allow online signatures for ballot access.

To qualify for the ballot, we must collect 3,500 VALID signatures by June 2.

Because some signatures are invalidated, our real goal is:

👉 7,000 signatures by May 20.

This campaign is powered by people—not parties.

👉 Every signature helps put this plan in front of ALL Iowans.

Getting on the ballot depends on Iowans stepping up and helping gather signatures.

 

What to Do (Quick Overview)

Step-by-Step

1. Download and Print the Petition (available at the top of this page)

👉 Write the county name at the top of each page before collecting signatures.

2. Ask People to Sign

When asking for signatures, say:

“Signing does NOT mean you're voting — it simply puts Sondra on the ballot so Iowans have a choice.”

You can also show them the website or the PDF overview.

3. Follow These Rules (IMPORTANT)

⚠️ ONE COUNTY PER PETITION PAGE

Each petition page can ONLY contain signatures from ONE county

Before anyone signs, ALWAYS ask:

👉 “What county are you registered in?”

Then do this:

- Write that county at the top of the page

- Only collect signatures from people in that same county

Each signer MUST:

- Live in Iowa

- Write their home address

- Sign clearly

- Be eligible to vote in Iowa

Not registered?

👉 They can still sign if they are eligible (18+, Iowa resident)

🚫 Do NOT mix counties on one page — this can invalidate the entire sheet
