Hello! My name is Sondra Wilson. I am an independent candidate for Iowa Governor from Nevada, Iowa, and the founder of Wild Willpower.

My campaign was built around a four-pillar platform for infrastructure, education, healthcare, and justice reform — a Full System Upgrade for Iowa.

This campaign was not built around political theater. It was built around lived experience, years of research, public service, survival, and reform. I believe Iowa can become a state where ordinary people understand their rights, public officials are accountable, healthcare is treated as a public necessity, and innovation is used to reduce unnecessary hardship.

How My Campaign Was Derailed

I was not defeated by voters.

I was kept off the ballot before voters had the chance to decide.

During the signature-gathering window, my campaign became entangled with court deadlines, unresolved civil-rights litigation, and public-record issues I am still seeking to correct. What began as a ballot-access issue has now become part of a larger effort to expose election interference, restore civil-rights enforcement, and make the tools of legal redress accessible to ordinary Iowans.
