“Heal the Heartland; heal the world!”
Iowans are being offered “slim pickins” from party candidates — watered-down platforms, corporate agendas, and platitudes instead of concrete plans to help all Iowans. Running as an Independent means Sondra can restore our judiciary by appointing fair, nonpartisan judges, and make decisions in the public’s interest while remaining free from undue influence. She isn’t running “just to introduce new ideas” nor to “split the vote”.
She’s running to win because her strong, progressive platform is a grand slam for Iowans.
Independents represent the majority in Iowa – we just need to organize! According to the Independent Voter Project, 29% of Iowans are registered Democrats, 32% are Republican, and 39% are “other” or “unaffiliated”.
Many Dems will try to scare you into voting blue, saying things like, “Iowa is a deep red state. Vote for the Democrat or Republicans will win, and it will be your fault.” We see this same gun-to-the-head political tactic every election. Although most of the people saying it believe it is true, what is actually true is that Iowa is a deep jade state. Most of us are deeply jaded because we’re sick of “pony show politics”, insane levels of party loyalty to the detriment of the country, and candidates running on popularity contests instead of comprehensive plans.
Whether you’re a displaced Republican who remembers Lincoln’s legacy and feels pushed out by MAGA, an Independent or non-voter who feel hopeless and unrepresented, or a Progressive Democrat ready to jump ship because the party keeps moving to the right due to the Cotton Whig effect – if you’re tired of far left, far right, tug-of-war politics, and instead you want common sense solutions to real world issues that impact your life, this campaign is for you.

This is a “By and for the People” campaign to get Iowa, the country, and the parties thinking outside the box, and carving our own destiny.
