March 31, 2023: Announced my candidacy for Iowa Governor

It was the first time DMACC had ever hosted the Upper Midwest Honors Conference’s (“UMHC”) annual gathering, and it was a big honor to be invited to represent our college in the Three Minute Thesis competition.

DMACC Honors had invited Governor Reynolds to the event — to welcome the colleges and universities to the great state of Iowa, however she declined.
