Wild Willpower Candidate Pledge

A Different Standard of Accountability

Wild Willpower was created in response to a simple, recurring problem in modern politics:

Too often, candidates campaign on values they do not consistently uphold once in office—and the organizations that support them lack meaningful mechanisms to ensure accountability.

Traditional political parties may promote shared priorities, but they do not typically require a public, personal ethical commitment, nor do they consistently reassess support when those commitments are not honored.

Wild Willpower takes a different approach.

We believe that public trust must be earned—and maintained.

That is why every candidate or affiliated member who seeks endorsement through Wild Willpower is asked to make a clear, voluntary, and public pledge to uphold a shared standard of ethics, responsibility, and service.

What Makes This Different

Wild Willpower does not nominate candidates, govern candidates, or exercise legal authority over elected officials.

Instead, we provide something different:

  • A Code of Ethics grounded in honesty, integrity, compassion, and accountability

  • A living platform developed in good faith and open to thoughtful improvement

  • A public pledge that allows voters to clearly understand what a candidate stands for

  • A visible standard of accountability, through which endorsement may be reassessed if those commitments are not upheld

Endorsement by Wild Willpower is not a title or status—it is a public expression of trust.

Accountability to the Public

Candidates who choose to align with Wild Willpower do so voluntarily.

In doing so, they make a commitment not only to their campaign, but to the people they serve.

If credible concerns arise that a candidate has acted in ways that are dishonest, harmful, or inconsistent with the principles they pledged to uphold:

  • Wild Willpower may review the situation in good faith

  • Seek clarity and context

  • And, if necessary, reassess or withdraw endorsement

This is not done to shame or punish.

It is done to maintain integrity, and to ensure that the public is not misled about what our endorsement represents.

The Candidate Pledge

Prior to admission or endorsement, individuals who seek to affiliate with Wild Willpower publicly recite the following pledge:

Wild Willpower Pledge

I, [full name], do solemnly and voluntarily pledge:

To uphold the Wild Willpower Code of Ethics in both word and action.

To act with honesty, integrity, and compassion, and to take responsibility for my decisions and their consequences.

To serve justice fairly and without favoritism, and to respect the dignity and rights of all people.

To be transparent where appropriate, while exercising care to avoid unnecessary harm.

To work toward the good of all, and to genuinely care about the well-being of the people I serve.

To act as a responsible steward of the land and its resources, and to work to ensure that future generations have meaningful access to the natural world, including clean environments, productive land, and opportunities for cultivation, learning, and renewal.

To support and strengthen the Wild Willpower platform in good faith—preserving its integrity while contributing to its thoughtful improvement.

To remain accountable not only to the law, but to the ethical commitments I make here today.

I understand that this pledge is a voluntary expression of principle, and that endorsement by Wild Willpower is a public sign of trust—not a guarantee of office, authority, or affiliation under law.

If I fail to uphold these commitments, I accept that Wild Willpower may reassess or withdraw its endorsement, and explain its reasoning to the public.

I make this pledge freely, in service to the people, and I invite the public to hold me to it.

A Public Commitment

This pledge is not symbolic.

It is a clear and public statement of values, made so that voters can:

  • Understand what a candidate stands for

  • Evaluate whether those commitments are being honored

  • And make informed decisions based on both words and actions

Moving Forward

Wild Willpower is an evolving civic initiative.

Our platform, policies, and ideas are intended to grow through good-faith participation, public input, and continued learning.

But our core commitments remain constant:

  • Integrity

  • Accountability

  • Service to the people

  • Respect for the law

  • And a responsibility to future generations

In Plain Terms

We are not asking candidates to be perfect.

We are asking them to be:

  • Honest

  • Accountable

  • Grounded in principle

  • And willing to stand publicly behind their commitments

That is the standard.

And that is what the Wild Willpower seal represents.

When you see the Wild Willpower seal, it means a candidate has made this pledge—publicly, voluntarily, and in good faith.
