Citizens for an Effective Civil Rights Commission (CECRC) is an Iowa-based organization, a “peaceable assembly of Citizens” operating in accordance with the First Amendment of the US Constitution and Art. I Sec. II of the Iowa Constitution, “All political power is inherent in the people. Government is instituted for the protection, security, and benefit of the people, and they have the right, at all times, to alter or reform the same, whenever the public good may require it.“
CECRC consists of Iowa Citizens (1) directly impacted by determinations made by the Iowa Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) which we found to have falsely misrepresented ICRC’s stated intent and (2) concerned Citizens who want the State of Iowa to perform an effective job combatting discrimination.
