People keep asking me, “Hey Sondra — what’s up with the handcuffs!?”
On March 31 this year I filed criminal charges against Kim Reynolds and more than 90 Republican Lawmakers. You don’t need to be an attorney to see that Defendants very clearly appear to have violated 18 U.S.C. § 241 “Conspiracy against rights”, 18 U.S.C. § 242 “Deprivation of rights under color of law. Both of these laws came pursuant to the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, and were specifically designed for holding corrupt government officials accountable. Most Iowans assume that the arrests will not be made. After all, Government officials seem to have a knack for not holding each other accountable! However, that’s where these kits come in…
As we know, I would not be able to order the Legislative Branch to be arrested due to separation of powers. However, as Governor, I shall give the Defendants the opportunity to turn themselves in. If they do not, I will order the Executive Branch to protect Iowa Citizens, who may then walk into the rooms where the Legislative Assemblies take place, and peaceably make the arrests. No harassment. No excessive force. However, we must restore due process rights, and government officials are not above the law!
