After beginning to write this history textbook series in 2012, the entire series is finally near completion! Previews are available for books 1 and 2, and within the coming weeks I will post preview pages for the other books as well. Between Feb. 9 and Apr 6, I will be traveling Europe to finish documenting and research for books one and two, which will be available to purchase later this year. Please follow my blog as I travel Europe!
Book 1: Inside the Library of Ashurbanipal –covers the archaeological evidence of humanity’s oldest known writings and the cultures who created them – Sumerian, Egyptian, Haltamti (aka Elamite), Akkadian, and several others. To put this into perspective, many of these languages appeared around 4000-3000 BCE, while Proto-Hebrew only begins to appear in the archaeological record around 900 BCE. Shows the earliest archaeological evidence of money, commerce, government, and law tablets – and thus – the beginnings of the modern day legal system and governments around the world. Humanity’s first known empire was created (and overthrown) in this region of the world, however all of these artifacts – from languages to money to law tablets – were buried underground from around 600 BCE until the 1850s CE. Many of them were only translated within the past 20 years. This book sets up the series, providing a crucial part of the overall timeline which brings all the other books into context.
